Carl Eberhard Kraatz, M.A.
Carl Eberhard Kraatz is a Research Associate and PhD candidate in the MeDiMi project “Human Rights as Reference Point of Professional Ethics for Social-Educational Practice in Migration Societies”. In his doctoral project, he investigates processes of pedagogical professionalization in different fields of work. Carl Eberhard Kraatz has studied educational science with a focus on extracurricular education at Justus Liebig University Giessen. In his bachelor thesis, he dealt with the criteria and characteristics of gender-reflexive boys’ work, his master thesis examined a student-organized practice-oriented tutorial program from the perspective of self-determined learning. His research interests lie in the areas of pedagogical professionalization, socio-pedagogical attitudes and legitimation patterns with regard to migration and human rights, gender pedagogy, and research methods.
